With more than 450 million Skype users worldwide, the integration of Skype on Nokia N900 is a significant step in bringing converged Internet experiences from the desktop to the world's most advanced smartphone.
As you may have laready know, the Nokia N900 has Skype built-in – it’s totally integrated into the phone’s operating system, with no extra downloads required. You can make free Skype-to-Skype calls and IM on 3G or WiFi, and call phones abroad at great, low rates.
Skype on the N900 also comes with multiple accounts support but as of now video calls over Skype are not supported but they are promising it will be added if possible.
There is however rest of the Skype functionality including; Instant Messaging, Call Forwarding (Divert calls to another number or Skype ID), Calls to landlines, mobiles and Skype to Skype.
Furthermore, there is ability to edit your profile on the device, on device credit purchaseas well as ability to export and import phone numbers.
